Overview:
Learn the differences between each of Tethr’s sharing permissions and the level of access they give to reports, dashboards and folders.
Additional permissions are granted when a user who owns a folder or content item, like a report or dashboard they’ve created, shares the item with other users. At the time of sharing, the owner or editor/organizer of the item being shared can give additional view only or editor/organizer permissions to any other Tethr user in their organization.
Report and dashboard sharing permissions:

View only |
Default permission. Can view or copy a report or dashboard. Can add a report to a dashboard you have Editor access to, or add a view only content item to a folder you have Organizer access to. |
Can edit |
Can modify the content item shared with them in the following ways:
Cannot delete the content item shared with them. |
Owner |
Only one owner per content item. Can do everything a viewer and editor can do plus delete the content item. |
Folder sharing permissions:

Default permission. Can only view a folder or copy a folder, but not rename, rearrange or share it. Viewers get a read-only view of the folder share modal. These permissions are the same for system-generated Library folders. |

Only one owner per folder. Can do everything a viewer and organizer can do plus delete the folder. |
