Enable and manage external sharing

New feature: content organization, collaboration and filtering

External sharing allows users to share dashboards and interactions with recipients that are not Tethr users.

Required: You must be a Tethr account admin to enable and manage external sharing.

Manage external sharing options

Navigate to External sharing options from the account menu:


Sharing dashboards as emails


Configure external sharing options for dashboards:

    1. Check the box to allow dashboards to be shared by email with external recipients 
    2. Enable users to share dashboards externally by selecting the email sharing admin role in their user profile

      Important note: This role will allow the user to see data from all user groups when scheduling emails. This will allow them to share dashboards with any recipient without being limited to their own user groups.
    3. Define who users can share dashboards with: allow sharing with anyone, or limit the recipients to specific email addresses or domains
    4. Add an optional email disclaimer
    5. Save your selections

Sharing interactions 


Configure external sharing options for interactions:

    1. Check the box to allow interactions be shared with external recipients 
    2. Define which users can share interactions externally
    3. Choose which expiration options are available when sharing an interaction externally
    4. Set the default expiration to limit how long external recipients can view a shared interaction
    5. Add an optional email disclaimer
    6. Save your selections
