Delete a user group

Delete a user group in Tethr.

Required: You must be an Admin in Tethr to manage users and user groups. If you require Administrative access, please contact your organization's Tethr account administrator.

Delete a user group:

Getting started: To access the user group settings, select the dropdown menu arrow next to your profile image, then select Settings. Finally, select the User groups option in the Admin menu on the left.
      1. To delete a user group, navigate to the User group page and select Delete.

        Note: You can also delete a user group by selecting the More actions ( ••• ) menu from the list of user groups and choosing the Delete user group option.
      2. A pop-up will display confirming you want to delete the user group. Selecting Delete will completely remove the user group from Tethr.
      3. Select Cancel to end the user group deletion process and keep the user group.


        Warning: Deleting a user group cannot be undone.
      4. If you decide to delete a user group, a pop-up will appear to confirm you are authorized to do this task. Enter your login information and then select Authorize.
