What are folders?

New feature: content organization, collaboration and filtering

This article describes a new feature that may not be available to all users. If you don't see this feature and want to learn more, please contact your Tethr admin.
Section only

Overview:

Folders help you organize your dashboards and reports. They're a great way to group and share content within Tethr.

But folders are more than just places to organize, share and collaborate on content in Tethr. They're filterable too. Add contextual filters to your folders to help you find specific content more quickly, or to focus the folder's view before you share with your colleague, your team or another department. Instance filters allow you to quickly adjust the display of content on multiple reports across a dashboard so you can compare unique attributes across each.

Folders make it easy to:

  • Organize your dashboards and reports into folders for easy reference.
  • Apply personalized filters to your folders to quickly find the insights you’re looking for, or to customize what your teams see (for example, reports by region or department) so they can focus on the insights that really matter to them.
  • Share your folders and collaborate with your team, or with departments across your organization, on common reports and dashboards.
  • Quickly add a single report or dashboard to multiple folders ... no need to manage multiple copies.
