Changing the graph

Quickly customize the graph style on your report.

Getting started: The following features are available in both Search & browse and Reports. Either click on the Search & browse tab to begin a new search, or open a saved report in the My reports list.

Change the display graph:

  1. Click on the Graph icon. A menu of graph types will appear.
  2. Select the desired graph type.
    Tip: You may also modify the chart colors by clicking the Color Options ( ColorIcon.png ) icon.
  3. When you are satisfied with the new graph choice to display your data, click on the Save button at the top of the screen.

What’s the difference between each graph style?

Bar.png Bar: used to display the total sum of all variables over a given timeframe.

GroupedBar.png Grouped Bar: used to compare each variable side-by-side over a given timeframe.

Area.png Area: used to display trends over time with background fills to visually illustrate data trends.

Line.png Line: used to display changes over time in a connected line format to illustrate each data point.

Pie.png Pie: used to display the percentage of each attribute for the entire time duration

Normalize: select this option to see the graph style displayed as percentages versus actual numbers. This option is not available for the Pie graph style.
